| ⑪ | Tea Talk at St Mary’s Church | Sunday 11th Jan, 3pm | St Mary’s Church, Church St (OX5 2AZ) – Professor Myles Allen CBE FRS will be speaking at this month’s ‘Tea Talk’ organised by the Friends of St Mary’s. The title is ‘Climate change, flooding in the Thames Valley and the future of fossil fuels’. The “climate crisis”, or “net stupid zero” is threatening to drive people apart. Prof Allen will explain how we can adapt to many of the changes that are now inevitable and discuss possible strategies for solving climate change and finding a way forward. Tea will be served after the talk. Donations in aid of Church Funds. |

The hazel rods collected will later be woven into hurdles to screen off new planting at Axtell Close. There will be other gardening activities available as well and refreshments will be provided! |
