⑪	Tea Talk at St Mary’s Church | Sunday 11th Jan, 3pm | St Mary’s Church, Church St (OX5 2AZ) – Professor Myles Allen CBE FRS will be speaking at this month’s ‘Tea Talk’ organised by the Friends of St Mary’s. The title is ‘Climate change, flooding in the Thames Valley and the future of fossil fuels’. The “climate crisis”, or “net stupid zero” is threatening to drive people apart. Prof Allen will explain how we can adapt to many of the changes that are now inevitable and discuss possible strategies for solving climate change and finding a way forward. Tea will be served after the talk. Donations in aid of Church Funds.
⑭	Thermal Imaging Training Workshop | 14th January, 6.30-8.30pm | Wesley Memorial Church, OX1 2DH – Why not sign up and come along to this free practical thermal imaging workshop, hosted by CAG Oxfordshire and the Low Carbon Hub, and led by expert thermographer Paul Buckingham. ⑰	Hazel Coppicing at Park Hill | Sat 17th Jan, 10am – 12pm | Park Hill Recreation Ground (OX5 2DA) – Come and join the St Mary’s Fields and Growing Spaces volunteers in a coppicing session. The hazel rods collected will later be woven into hurdles to screen off new planting at Axtell Close. There will be other gardening activities available as well and refreshments will be provided!
㉓	Big Garden Bird Watch | 23rd-25th January –  Join the world’s largest garden wildlife survey this January. Every year, hundreds of thousands of nature lovers take part, helping to build a picture of how garden birds are faring. Watch the video here, or to find out more and sign up click here.
