The Cherwell Recycling page, with its Waste Wizard, is really useful for finding out how to recycle things in your area.
Information leaflets on waste and recycling services are available at Kidlington Library, 23 Oxford Rd, Kidlington OX5 2BP.
Disposable vapes and small electrical items can go out in plastic bags on top of your bins.
And don’t forget: before you even get to the point of recycling – one of our friends and partners, Waste Innovation Station Headquarters (WISH), is a local project that is devoted to facilitating a local circular economy and helping us to repair, reuse, and repurpose (not to mention other verbs beginning with ‘r’ that I’ve forgotten!) everyday items to save them from landfill. Find out more about their work on their facebook page here.
See our guide on how to reduce, reuse, repair and repurpose locally.
