Our goal is to indicate where delivery actions could be taken to help achieve shared nature recovery priorities. This is an ongoing strategy and this talk will describe how we have navigated the process and what we intend to achieve. Admission is £3 (or free to members of ANHSO). Local Eco News

Some headlines since the last update…

Otter Sighting – Is it a log? Is it a capsized boat? No! It’s an otter!

After one of St Mary’s Field’s recent work parties, Andy and Dave paddled down to Wight Bridge to set up a trail cam. 6 weeks later, when the floods had receded enough to retrieve the camera, their labours were rewarded. Having trawled through some 20,000 images, Andy spotted several snaps of an otter in the Cherwell! Check out the SMF Facebook page for more close encounters of the animal kind!

Hedgehog Highway Accessories! – Rhiannon, our Wild Kidlington officer now has some trendy little signs for hedgehog gaps as part of the Hedgehog Highway project in Kidlington. These have been fashioned by an amazing local wood-based-wonder-working volunteer. She’s also been into North Kidlington Primary School to teach the little’uns about the way of our spiky little comrades. If you would like to find out more, or reserve a sign of your own, get in touch with her via kidlington@wildoxfordshire.org.uk or visit our Hedgehog Highway page.

Back by popular demand Earth Hour is soon upon us!
